Soon afterward, mary got ready and hurried off to a town in the hill country of Judea. She went into Zechariah's house and greeted Elizabeth, her cousin. Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and said in a loud voice you are the most blessed of all women and blessed is your child. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Why should this great thing happen to me? That my Lord's mother comes to visit me happened to me. He has kept the promise he made to our ancestors and has come to the help of his servant, israel. He has remembered to show mercy to Abraham and to all his descendants forever. The time came for Elizabeth to have her baby, and she gave birth to a son. Her neighbours and relatives rejoiced with her. Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with you. Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and told everyone how God named their baby John, holy Spirit, and told everyone how God named their baby John and had chosen him to be a prophet to prepare the way for the Savior.
